All roads lead to comics
What a journey it’s been! We’ve developed training modules that raise awareness on biodiversity conservation among youth, held numerous workshops to train our trainers, as well as create stories for the webtoons, worked with our amazing illustrators to develop webtoon story concepts, and it’s all culminated in the release of webtoon stories.
We’re delighted to share the comics with you, and will continue to promote them over the course of this year.
Awareness through storytellling
The Bioyoutoon project aims to empower young people to take action on biodiversity conservation through an innovative medium: webtoons.
As part of the project goals, we’ve created a series of webcomics (created by local artists) that transports readers into a world where biodiversity comes alive. Through compelling narratives, relatable characters, and thought-provoking plotlines, the stories immerse young readers into the wonders of nature and awaken their sense of responsibility as stewards of our planet.
Following months of development, we’re delighted to share the comics with you!
